Haibun Thinking: Week 2 – January 28th 2014

Firstly, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everybody who took part in our inaugural week. 21 people participated, so the team and myself are truly grateful and we hope that you will continue to join in.

This week’s non-photo prompt is used because of it being Robert Burns’ birthday in the past week. The photo comes courtesy of MaryAnn Holloway.

We look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Literature Prompt:

Gathering her brows like gathering storm, Nursing her wrath to keep it warm
Robert Burns

Photo Prompt:

If you would like some idea on how a Haibun is formed, you can click on the “Example Haibun” page at the top which has a Haibun from each of the team, or click on the froggy and have a look at someone else’s post.

We look forward to reading your posts. Please don’t forget to add your link to the froggy link, and if you wish you can click on the link underneath the froggy to add the creature to your post.
